Tissue Specific Exercise Retraining

Every injured tissue in our body has different oxygen and blood flow demands and needs to allow successful recovery. Simply prescribing 3 sets of 10 repetitions to every patient is not the answer. Every tissue, whether it be muscle, tendon, cartilage, bone, nerve, etc. have different recovery demands and when prescribed improperly, this could be the difference between getting better or not improving at all.

Ever wonder why cartilage and “tendonitis” related injuries often don’t heal as well as other injuries? It could be that you were not receiving the correct amount of sets, repetitions, and resistance during your rehabilitation. Unlike other clinics who prescribe the same generic exercises for the same duration to all patients, our physical therapists have completed advanced orthopedic residency training and understand these needs and will prescribe the correct of amount exercise to promote optimal oxygenation and blood flow to the injured tissues, while educating the patient about the need for adequate rest.

TAKE YOUR INJURY IN YOUR OWN HANDS AND RECEIVE THE CARE YOU DESERVE FROM THE EXPERTS IN ORTHOPEDICS!
