Is a physician referral required before starting physical therapy?
No. Fortunately, most insurance no longer require a referral prior to starting PT, which is great for patients because research shows that direct access results in reduced overall medical costs, quicker results, all with no adverse risks. Some insurances still require a physician referral and/or authorization. Contact us at (405) 735-8777 and we can determine if a referral is required.
Will my insurance cover my treatment costs?
We are In-Network with every insurance, best allowing you to maximize your insurance benefits. Every insurance is unique and all costs are determined solely by the insurer and the specific plan; however, almost all insurances provide physical therapy coverage. Prior to your first visit, our front office staff will verify your insurance benefits and provide you with a financial policy and explain your benefits in detail. No hidden costs, no surprises!
Do you offer cash pay pricing for those without insurance?
Yes. We take pride in offering the MOST AFFORDABLE cash pay rates in the entire OKC Metro. Contact us to learn more about our prices.
What if I can’t afford to pay for my PT visits up front?
We understand that everyone’s financial situation is different and we offer payment plan options to ease your burden. Physical therapy should be available to everyone and our goal is to remove any obstacle that prevents you from getting better.
How long will my physical therapy appointment last?
Typically, an initial evaluation will last 1.5-2 hours total. Follow up appointments last anywhere from 1-1.5 hours, depending on the patients individual needs. Unlike many clinics, we do not arbitrarily cap your appointment to 45 minute-1 hour sessions; instead, we maximize each visit to provide the best possible patient value.
What should I wear to my appointments?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely during treatment. We have private bathrooms allowing you to change clothes as needed. Our PT’s utilize a variety of hands on treatments which may require patient to expose the treated area. We will always maintain discretion and place the patients comfort level as the highest priority. We also have private treatment rooms (as needed).
